ABOUT ART SCAMS
Art-related scams are common, so it pays to be cautious when entering competitions online or selling your artwork based on an email.
Scammers routinely search the internet for email addresses of artists and send invitations to enter competitions promising awards, prizes and/or participation in an exhibition online or in print. Some may be legitimate, but it can be difficult to verify those from outside the U.S. and Canada (and why we don't post them) so be especially careful.
